Count Down to 2018 - 3

Card #3 for  Happy New Year.
Today I used Stampin'Up! materials,
Verve stamp and Michael Strong stamps.

First I cut the cofee cup with the
Stampin'Up! thinlits out of blue
and the lid out of  gold. The sleeve is out of
glitter foam.

Behind the cup you see a SU! foil snowflake
and on the sleeve the white embossed numbers

The golden happy is SU! and the sentiment is by

Coundting Down to 2018 - 2

Here my 2nd card counting down to 2018.
Here in The Netherlands everyone can light
fireworks at midnight, but I am not a big fan.
I keep to sparkles. Here is one for each of my grandsons!

This sparkle background is from the set
"It's a Celebration" from Stampin'Up!.

The sentiment is from Create with TLC
(not a stamp, but digital printed image).
The star is the mini star from Michael Strong
and is embossed in silver on silver paper.
It covers the place where I made two slits to
add the sparkles through.

Club Scrap December technique - repeat stamping

Here is my entry for the
Repeat Stamping
(the digital way).
See the main blog for Roni's wonderful sample
cards and ideas for this technique HERE.

I started with making this background panel
with the Club Scrap A Night at the Met
digital kit. The font I found online HERE
and is a free download.
Then I glued it to a silver background
and the base of the card is paper from
the November Scandinavia paper kit.

Then the word New Year was printed in white paper
and added to the card. The light flashes on the
background looked like fireworks to me.
So I made it look like sparklers and added a
few sticky gemstones to give it even more sparkle.

You can also use the same background for
a birthday card.  So instead of writing
New Year I printed Birthday and added a cute

Club Scrap December A Night at The Met linky party

Usually you expect a Club Scrap Blog Hop of the kit
that is out in this month. Well, things have changes
and from now on there is a linky party.
This means everyone with a Club Scrap kit of the
month can play along by adding the project made
with the kit to the Club Scrap main blog HERE.

For my project I used the "A Night at the Met"
digital images. The pictures are of our Hanukkah celebration.
I used an existing CS template, but I am not very
good at using it and changing the colors. It took me
a white in photoshop to get this page. As I am trying to
use more of the digital kit, I learn along the way.

I will confess, I have stopped my paper kit and want to
use all the papers, stamps and embellishments I still
have in the next year in combination with the digital
kits that come out every month. I hope you will come
to see me using up all the supplies I have still lying
around. You know I am not a hoarder, but not every kit
is finished and I now want to use all those items. It
will be quite a journey.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Christmas Tag

Today I created my card for the Just Add Ink Challenge.
I started making the tag with stencils by Tim Holtz
for the background. Then I cut out the tree (Michael
Strong die) and stamped on a new paper the tree
(also Michael Strong) and embossed the tree in white.

After adding the tag with 3d foam tape to the design
paper background, I glued the tree inside the hole on
the tag. The sentiment is also Tim Holtz.

Twinkle & Glow

A last minute Christmas card. A CAS card.
(CAS - clean and simple)

I cut out the circle and then embossed the background with the
Stampin'Up! Cable Knit embossing folder.

Next I cut out the Bethlehem design and glued it behind the
circle. The light blue panel is stuck to the teal background
with foam tape, and adding some white dots in the circle
with a white gelpen.

The star is the mini star by Michael Strong. Embossed in silver
on the teal paper. The leaves are dies that come with the
Seasonal lantern Set by Stampin'Up!

The sentiment is also from the Seasonal Lanterns
by Stampin'Up! stampmed in tw colors blue for the
glow effect.

Hpe you are all ready for Christmas, or maybe do some
last minute shopping, wrapping or cooking.
Whatever you do, enjoy and have a wonderful time.
